C&W Mountain Horse Farm, Inc. is open Monday - Saturday. We are closed on Sundays.

Location: Our farm is located at 4554 Windmill Drive, Inverness, Florida 34453, and is conveniently located on U.S. 41, just 20 minutes southeast of Ocala, approximately 1 hour west of Orlando via the Florida Turnpike, and approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes north of Tampa.

Trail Head-Nature Coast Trail Riding On Adjacent Public Lands: We adjoin the 46 mile Withlacoochee State Trail connecting Citrus Springs, Florida on the north end to Trilby, Florida on the south end, with public recreation areas in between for your trail riding pleasure. Plan your ride through the state forests, with comfort stops at the restaurants, shops and villages that make up some of the most scenic areas of the Nature Coast.

Resort-Accommodations-Fine Dining and Golf: Our farm includes Connell Lake, known locally for its trophy bass, and adjoins the Lakeside Golf Course Destination Resort including the Van der Valk Restaurant, with its exquisite fine European dining. For those interested in overnight stays, golf villas are available in the Resort.

C&W is home to one of the largest herds of Mountain Horses and includes some of the finest Rocky Mountain Horses, Kentucky Mountain Horses and Mountain Pleasure Horses anywhere. Virtually all of our horses are double or triple registered Mountain Horses, by champion or renowned stallions Diamond Reo, Don Mar Duke & Law & Order.
